For WiFi I have two unifi access points that are hard wired. Every time I check the CPU on the dashboard it's very low like 5-10%. Personally I bought the FW4B in 2021, my internet speeds are 350 and I get just about that exactly on my hardwired Xbox that bypasses the VPN while other steams and things are happening. You may be able to download games a little faster but to me that recurring cost difference every month just isn't worth it. Its still overkill but that's usually one step up from the base 20-50 that most places offer. If its just you and family consider dropping down to 250-350ish level. Its like paying to get a bigger water pipe to your house but still having the same size faucets and showers (your orbi mesh 300Mbps backbone) and still only having 1 family living there. So unless you think you need to stream 40 or more streams starting all at the same time this is likely overkill. To watch Netflix in 4k they say you only need 15 Mbps but I think for better performance its probably closer to 30. Just want to throw out there that it is very unlikely you need a gig for your home internet.
